Keep your favorite schoolyards plants growing!
Seeds are the starting point for healthy, thriving gardens—including our NYC schoolyards. Join the NYC Parks Plant Ecology Center and Nursery (PECAN) for a hands-on workshop exploring how to collect, clean, and store seeds for future planting.

Participants will learn seed-saving techniques from PECAN staff and have the opportunity to harvest and clean seeds. You’re also welcome to bring seeds from your own schoolyard garden!
