New York is experiencing a serious drought and we need your help to keep the plants on your green-roof gazebos alive. Since we haven’t seen rain in nearly a month, even the resilient sedum plants need watering.
To keep your green-roof from dying, please spend at least 15 minutes watering the plants atop your gazebos and sheds with a hose every other day until we see rain showers again. You can either use a sprinkler nozzle or put your thumb on the end to create pressure like I’m doing here:

Trees and gardens also need watering right now, especially if they’ve been planted in the last two years. Please fill those gator bags and water those gardens. The best time of day is early morning or after school when the sun in closer to setting but anytime is better than nothing.
Thank you for your stewardship!
