We love the programs, resources, and Citizen Tree Pruner training offered by Trees New York  and we’ve used their The NYC Street Tree Map  to explore the trees a schoolyard’s neighborhood, and to learn about each species.  Here’s some of the tree-based curriculum they recommend:
