Are you making the most of your schoolyard fence?

Aside from our rules, funder, and environmental education signs, your fence can serve as a way to speak to your neighbors! Here are some ways our TPL schoolyards have made use of some fence signage.

Fundraiser! Encourage the community to support schoolyard events and stewardship.

Organize: hang an enclosed bulletin board that your school and community can utilize for advertising, events, or resources.

Communicate. It’s always a good idea to keep your community up to date on schoolyard hours, especially if your school permits the yard during afterschool hours.

And always lets us know if there are any issues with your TPL schoolyard signage. We can replace them, help you get materials to rehang them, or help get them cleaned.

And let us know if you need a sign to remind neighbors that dogs should head to a grassier park.
